Sean Kenny, Executive Director of Coaching and Player Development
Coach Kenny is the former assistant coach at nationally-ranked St. John’s University and was formerly the head coach of the North Jersey Imperials and New York Fever professional teams. Coach Kenny won the 1996 NCAA National Championship with St. John’s and he has been the coach of two FC Westchester teams that have won national championships. Contact Sean at seankenny@verizon.net
John Hanna, Assistant Director of Coaching
Coach Hanna is a long-time successful youth coach and has coached numerous State Cup champions and coached two FC Westchester teams that won national championships.
Lonny Unger, Assistant Director of Coaching and Assistant Coach, U16 U.S. Soccer Development Academy Team
Coach Unger is the assistant men’s coach at Manhattan College and also runs the Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association Boys North ODP program. Chris Gonzales, Head Coach, FC Westchester U18 Boys U.S. Soccer Development Academy Team
Coach Gonzalez is an assistant coach at Iona College and is also the director of soccer for Future Stars Camps. He was previously the head men’s coach at Mercy College and prior to that was the assistant women’s coach at Iona College. In his playing days,, he was a star player at Fordham University and he grew up playing for FC Westchester.
Boris Bandov, Assistant Coach, FC Westcheter U18 U.S. Soccer Development Academy Team
Boris Bandov is a former star player with the world-famous New York Cosmos (where he played with Pele, Franz Beckenbauer, Carlos Alberto and others) and a former long-time US National Team player. He has also been a professional coach and an assistant coach at Manhattan College.
Robert Walkley, Head Coach FC Westchester U16 US Soccer Development Academy Team
Robert Walkley, a USSF "A" licensed coach, is a long-time youth coach and decade-long coach with the ENYYSA Olympic Development Program. He is also the head boys coach at Suffern High School, where he turned out players such as Eric Hort, now playing in Europe with Sparta Prague and Michael Konicoff, a star at nationally-ranked Boston College.
David McCollum, Head Coach, FC Westchester ’93 Boys (U15s)
David McCollum, a USSF "B: licensed coach, is a long-time ENYYSA ODP coach and a four-time winner of the ENYYSA State Cup championship as coach of the reknow Yorktown Spirit squad. Most of his Spirit team has gone on to great success at the Division 1 collegiate level at such schools as UConn, Princeton, Brown, Michigan State, Maryland, Siena and other top schools and three of his Spirit players were selected in the 2007 MLS Drafts.
Edgar Quiroga, Head Coach FC Westchester ’91 Boys (U17s)
Edgar Quiroga is formerly the head coach at Iona Prep and a long-time successful youth coach who has been to several State Cup Finals and has won the last two state cups with his 1991 team.
Carlos Casas, Head Coach FC Westchester ’94 Boys (U15s)
Carlos Casas is a former star at Boston College and a long-time successful youth coach. He, like Gonzales, grew up playing at FC Westchester.
Niall Archbold, Head Coach FC Westchester ’95 Boys (U13s) and Technical Director of FCW’s Youngest Teams
Coach Archbold is a former coach at NYU and a long-time successful youth coach. In addition to coaching the FCW ’95 team, Coach Archbold is heavily involved with developing our younger teams and was recently named Technical Director for our younger teams. Since coming to FC Westchester his teams have won numerous WYSL & nationally-ranked tournaments. In his playing career he played professionally in Ireland and semi professionally in the U.S. Coach Archbold holds a NCAA National license, He also coaches at the FC Westchester Academy.
James Quiroga, Head Coach FC Westchester ’96 Boys (U12s)
James Quiroga formerly was the assistant men’s coach at Iona College and has worked over the years with a number of FC Westchester teams.
Winston Buddle, Head Coach FC Westchester ’93 Girls (15 Girls)
Buddle has coached on many levels for the past 20 years and is well known for his expertise and teaching ability. Winston has been the Coordinator for the Westchester Youth Soccer League Coaches Clinic for the past 10 years, and he has led several youth teams to the New York State Championships. He is a former Head Coach of the St. Vincent National Team, Seba United of Jamaica, Keio High School, and Mamaroneck High School. His son Edson in the MLS.
