FC Westchester's Schramm Selected in MLS Draft
Ricky Schramm, who starred for several years for the FC Westchester ’86 Boys and then was a four-year starter at Georgetown, was selected in the third round and 37th overall by D.C. United in the Major League Soccer (MLS) SuperDraft held January 12th in Indianapolis.

Schramm, who was recently named to the 2006 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Men’s Division I All-Northeast Region Third Team, led Georgetown in scoring for the fourth straight season this past fall. The forward ranked third in the BIG EAST with 10 goals and fourth in the league with 24 points. Schramm finished his Georgetown career tied for third on the school’s all-time goal scoring list and concluded his career tied for fourth all-time with 93 career points.

Schramm earned All-BIG EAST second team honors following the 2006 season after being named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Year in 2004 and All-BIG EAST third team in 2005.
