Coaching Staff: Head coach is Christian Gonzalez, formerly the assistant men’s coach at Iona College. An FC Westchester standout as a youth player in the late 1980s, Chris was a star player at Fordham University and played professionally for several years with the Wilmington Hammerheads in North Carolina and the New York Fever. Chris is assisted by Boris Bandov, formerly a star player with the world famous New York Cosmos (where he played with the likes of Pele, Beckenbauer and Carlos Alberto) and a former US National Team member. 

The 2008-09 team made it to the Academy playoffs.  The 2007-08 U18 team won the Academy League’s Northeast Division and made it to the Academy Finals event held at the Home Depot Center in Los Angeles. b

Coaching Staff:  David McCollum is a long-time ENYYSA ODP coach and a four-time winner of the ENYYSA State Cup championship as coach of the reknow Yorktown Spirit squad.  A former professional player in Germany, the Ireland native has developed several players who have gone on to major Division 1 college programs, including UConn, University of Maryland, Princeton, Michigan State, Brown, Albany, Binghamton, Sacred Heart, Marist and so on. Four of his past players  players were drafted by the MLS: Kevin Reiman (Salt Lake Real); Dane Murphy (DC United); Ryan Cordiero (DC United) and Laurant Manuel (Red Bull NY) .  He is assisted by Lonny Unger, who has been a Division 1 and Division 3 college coach for more than a decade and has also served as one of the directors of the Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association ODP program. He has been a Division 1 assistant coach at both Iona College and Manhattan College and was the men’s soccer head coach at Purchase College, SUNY. While at Purchase College, he won Hudson Valley Collegiate Conference Coach of the Year honors. He has also been a staff coach for the ENYYSA ODP program and a Super Y League ODP regional staff coach. He is an USSF licensed coach and holds a KNVB coaching certificate from the Netherlands.

The team participates in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy League and in the 2008-09 season made it to the Academy playoffs. 

Coaching Staff:  The coaching staff includes Nick Vertucci, formerly the assistant coach at Manhattan College and also an ENYYSA ODP staff coach, and Brent Gaylord, who also has collegiate coaching experience and is also an ENYYSA ODP program staff coach.

The team will participate in the spring in the ENYYSA President’s League and take part in a number of college showcase tournaments.

This team is coached by Edgar Quiroga, the former head coach at Iona Prep and a long-time youth coach who has taken several FC Westchester teams to State Cup championships and finals. He is assisted by Matt McGuire, a former top player in Rockland County.

In 2009-10, the will participate in the US Club Soccer U15 Academy League.

Coached by  Ricardo Lyon,  A former professional player, Lyon played for Union San Felipe in Chile’s Premier Division and also played for the U17 and U20 National Teams. He has been very active in the Westchester area coaching scene, serving as Director of Soccer programs and head boys varsity coach at Sleepy Hollow H.S.and varsity soccer coach at Hackley H.S., as well as a youth coach with the Yorktown and Chapppaqua Soccer Clubs. He has also served on the ENYYSA ODP staff. He holds a USSF B License, as well as Chilean National Futbol Institute (INAF) Certification, an .NSCAA, Regional goalkeepers license.  He is assisted by Jorge Porras, an Olympic Games performer who played with the Colombian National Team and was a long-time professional player in Colombia; Lonny Unger, a coach at Manhattan College and David McCollum, the club’s Director of Coaching.

The team will play in the US Club Soccer U14 Academy League.

The team -- which this fall will play in the Tri-League Premier League and in the spring in Md-Atlantic Premier Soccer League and in the state cup -- is coached by James Quiroga, a former assistant coach at Iona College and long time player and youth coach with the club, who has taken FC Westchester teams to State Cup Championships and finals. In fact, in the spring of 2009, he won the U13 State Cup championship. He is assisted by Jay Riordan, a long time successful youth coach..

Last season, this team won the ENYYSA State Cup championship and was a semi-finalist at the USYSA Region 1 Regional Championships.

Coaching Staff:  The team is coached by Niall Archbold, who is a former coach at NYU and a long-time successful youth coach. Since coming to FC Westchester his teams have won numerous WYSL & nationally-ranked tournaments. In his playing career he played professionally in Ireland and semi professionally in the U.S. Coach Archbold holds a NCAA National license, He also coaches at the FC Westchester Academy.  He is assisted by Anton McKeon, a former star player at Concordia College.

The team will be playing in the Tri-League Premier League. in the fall..
 

The team is coached by Carlos Casas, a former star at Boston College and a long-time successful youth coach. He is assisted by Chris Gonzalez, an assistant coach at Iona College who is also the director of soccer for Future Stars Camps and an USSF A Licensed coach.. He was previously the head men’s coach at Mercy College and prior to that was the assistant women’s coach at Iona College. In his playing days,, he was a star player at Fordham University and he grew up playing for FC Westchester, as did Coach Casas.   The team also has working with it Diego Monteguedo, a coach at Iona Prep and a former collegiate player at Iona College.

The team is coached by Brandon Garinger, a former FC Westchester player who is currently an Eastern NY ODP coach and Sean Kenny, Coach Kenny is the former assistant coach at nationally-ranked St. John’s University and was formerly the head coach of the North Jersey Imperials and New York Fever professional teams. Coach Kenny won the 1996 NCAA National Championship with St. John’s and he has been the coach of two FC Westchester teams that have won national championships and countless state cup championships. Most recently, he has led the FC Westchester ’94 Boys to the championship of the Mid-Atlantic Division of the Super Y League and will take that team to the Super Y League North American Finals to be held in Florida in November. He holds an USSF A license.

The team will be playing the the U13 Division 1 of the WYSL in the fall.
