FC Westchester's U.S. Pre-Development Academy Teams
For the 1998, 1997, U14 and U15 FC Westchester Teams

FC Westchester fields 1998, 1997, U14 (1996) and U15 (1995) Pre-Development Academy teams that play in the U.S. Club Northeast Pre-Academy League, which gets players ready for play in the U16 and U18 U.S. Soccer Development Academy program.  

In the U14 and U15 age groups, the U.S. Club Northeast Pre-Academy League is comprised of most of the U.S. Soccer Development Academy clubs.

In the 1998 age group, participating clubs are:  FC Westchester, BW Gottschee, Albertson SC, Met Oval, South Central Premier, Oakwood SC, PDA, NJSA and Match Fit Academy.

In the 1997 age group, participating clubs are:  FC Westchester, BW Gottschee, Albertson SC, Met Oval, South Central Premier, Oakwood SC, PDA, NJSA, Match Fit Academy and Red Bull.

In 2010/11, the 1998 and 1997 calendar year teams will play against U.S. Soccer Development Academy clubs in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. The U14 and U15 teams participate in a league that consists of teams in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania and Maryland.

FC Westchester U14 squad battled to a 1-1 tie with the Baltimore Bays in a U.S. Northeast Pre-Academy match played in Baltimore.

FC Westchester U15s Top NJSA 2-1 in Northeast Pre-Academy League Action

FC Westchester’s U15 team battled to a 2-1 victory over NJSA Saturday in U.S. Northeast Pre-Academy League action in New Jersey.

Losing 1-0 at half, Lucas McBride scored 16 minutes into 2nd half on a though ball by Jessie Chan. Then, after defender Sean Daly cleared a ball off the goal line 27 minutes into the second half, FCW’s McBride scored again for the game-winner. On the goal, Ceaser Romero and Fabi Chapparo combined down the line, with Chapparo serving the ball in for Mc Bride who scoresd on a scissor kick. Abe Hannigan in goal made two key saves in the last five minutes of the match to ice the game.
