F.C. Westchester Plays Albertson To Ties in U16 and U18 U.S. Soccer Development Academy Play
FC Westchester played host Albertson Soccer Club teams to a pair of draws in U.S. Soccer Development Academy action Saturday.
In the Under-16 game, FC Westchester tied Albertson, 1-1. Brad Jacobson scored FC Westchester's goal in the final minute on a diving header off a service from Charlie Pirc. Alex Castillo tallied for Albertson.
In the U-18 match, FC Westchester found themselves down early 2-0 on two goals from Brian Rogers, but staged a furious comeback and got a great header from Adam Rohen following by a 30 yard strike from Stephen Paresi several minutes later to register a 2-2 tie.
Next matches for the FC Westchester U.S. Soccer Development Academy squads will be March 29th vs. Oakwood SC and March 30 vs. South Central Premier. The games will be played at Immaculata H.S. in Danbury, Conn.
