FC Westchester U16 Team Wins U.S. Soccer Development Academy Divisional Crown
U16s Joining FCW U18s at Academy Playoffs in Greensboro

The FC Westchester U16 U.S. Soccer Development Academy team posted 2-2 ties this weekend with the New England Revolution and with Red Bull New York. The tie with the Red Bull clinched the Liberty Division title for the FC Westchester squad, meaning that both the FCW U16s and U18s won their respective divisional crowns.

On Sunday versus Red Bull, Gabe Stauber scored in each half for FC Westchester. His goal in the first half came off an assist from Andres Penfold, while his second goal came off assists from Tomas Penfold and Steven Arraiano.

On Saturday, Cesar Ceja scored very early in the first half, while Penfold added a goal late in the half off a pass from Michael Abraham.
Both the FC Westchester U16s and U18s next head to Greensboro, North Carolina the last weekend of this month for the U.S. Soccer Development Academy playoffs. It is the second year in a row that both teams have qualified for the Academy playoff event.
