Several FC Westchester players collected top high school honors during the past fall season.

• Four FC Westchester players – Chris Todd, Tom McNamara, Jeffrey Barrenchea and Daniel Mendoz, all from the FC Westchester U18 U.S. Soccer Development Academy team – were named All-Bergen County/

• Four FCW players – Arturo Barajas and Brian “Cobi” Span of the FCW U18 Academy team, Willie Gevertz of the FCW ’92 team and Greg Shaheen of the FCW U16 Academy team – were named to the All Journal-News Westchester First Team, while another four players – Hiroki Kobayashi, Bucky Illingworth and Gerardo Ceja of the U16 Academy team and J.P. Arenas of the U18 Academy team – were named to the Journal-News Westchester second team.

• Charlie Pirc of the U18 Academy team was named the Journal-News Rockland Player of the Year, while Steve Maliszewski of the FCW ‘92s joined Pirc on the All Rockland County team selected by the Journal-News. Ryan Moroni of the U18 Academy team was selected to the Journal-News Rockland second team.

• Matt Yackel of the U18 Academy team was selected to the Poughkeepsie Journal All-Stars first team.
