FCW's Cobi Span Commits to University of Virginia
Teammate Josh Weiner Commits to Brown University; Karr Commits to Richmond

Brian "Cobi" Span, a long-time member of FC Westchester and currently on the FC Westchester U18 U.S. Soccer Development Academy team, has verbally committed to the University of Virginia, one of the top collegiate soccer programs in the country. 

Span, a striker and midfielder who has been a member of the U17 National Team, was named this past season to the U.S. Soccer Development Academy Team All-Conference Best XI this past Academy season.  He will be a senior this fall at North Salem H.S. and will attend Virginia in the fall of 2010.

Meanwhile, FCW U18 teammate, Josh Weiner, a goalkeeper, has verbally committed to Brown University.  Weiner will be a senior this fall at Byram Hills H.S. and will attend Brown in the fall of 2010. 

And, Justin Karr, who played for the FCW U16 Academy team this past year and will play for the U18s this coming season, has committed to the University of Richmond.  He will be a senior at Horace Greeley H.S. in Chappaqua and will attend Richmond in the fall of 2010.
