FCW alum Piero Bellizzi tallied the winning goal as No. 16 Northwestern twice came back from one-goal deficits to defeat Western Illinois 3-2 Wednesday evening (10/15/09) at Northwestern’s Lakeside Field.  Belizzi played for the FCW ’89 Boys team.

A day earlier, Thomas McNamara -- who played for the FCW ’91 Boys -- led Brown’s offense by taking five shots in Brown’s 3-1 win over Big East foe Rutgers. He found the back of the net with the go ahead goal at the 62:27 mark when he headed in a pass from Evan Coleman off a Jay Hayward corner kick to tally his second career goal.
