FC Westchester alums J.P. Arenas and Dan Scott are heading to NCAA Division 3 Final Four. Both are at Oneonta State and played for the perennial State Champs FC Westchester '91s.
Oneonta join Calvins, Ohio Wesleyan and Montclair State in San Antonio, TX during the weekend of Dec. 2-3 to play for a national title. The Oneonta Red Dragons will face Calvin in its national semifinal with the game time to be announced in the coming days.
FCW’s Span Tallied Goal and Assist in Univ. of Virginia’s 4-1 Win Over NC State

FC Westchester’s Brian "Cobi" Span tallied a goal and a assist in the University of Virginia’s 4-1 victory Thursday over North Carolina State in an ACC matchup.
Span, an UVA sophomore, played for the FC Westchester U.S. Soccer Development Academy program and also for the FCW ’91s and ’92s.
FCW’s Kobayashi Named Ivy League Rookie of Week

After scoring the first goal of his collegiate career in a 1-1 tie against Dartmouth Saturday, FC Westchester alum Hiroki Kobayashi has been tabbed the Ivy League Rookie of the Week.
Kobayashi, a Harvard freshman, played for the FC Westchester U.S. Soccer Development program and the State Cup-winning FCW ’93s.
FCW’s Ryan McNamara Nets 2 in UNH 3-0 Win Over Dartmouth

FC Westchester’s Ryan McNamara tallied two goals in U. of New Hampshire’s 3-0 win over Dartmouth.
A UNH freshman, McNamara played for the FCW U.S. Soccer Development Academy program and also for the State Cup-winning FCW ’93s.

FCW’s Anthony Rozmus Scores, Gets Assist in Marist’s 3-0 Win Over Loyola of Maryland
FC Westchester alum Anthony Rozmus scored a goal and had an assist as Marist topped Loyola of Maryland 3-0.
Rozmus, Marist junior, played for the FC Westchester U18 U.S. Soccer Development Academy team that in 2008 went to the U.S. Soccer Development Academy National Championships.
FCW’s Adam Rohan Scores Winning Goal in Iona’s 2-0 Win Over Manhattan

FC Westchester’s Adam Rohan scored the goal ahead goal on a header in Iona’s 2-0 win over Iona College.
Rohan, an Iona senior, played for the FC Westchester U.S. Soccer Development Academy program and the club’s FCW ’90 team growing up. His goal appropriately came on Senior Day at Iona.

Kobayashi played for the FCW U.S. Soccer Development Academy program and the State-Cup winning FCW ’93s.

FCW’s Aaron Markowitz Scores Twice in Fordham’s 4-0 over LaSalle

FC Westchester alum Aaron Markowitz scored two goals this evening to lead Fordham University to a 4-0 win over LaSalle. Markowitz, a Fordham senior, played for the FCW State Cup-winning ’91s.
Fordham, currently in 1st place in the Atlantic 10, is coached by FCW U16 U.S. Soccer Development Academy coach Jim McElderry.
FCW’s Andres Penfold Scores in Monmouth University’s Win Over Quinnipiac

FC Westchester alum Andres Penfold scored for Monmouth University in Monmouth’s 2-0 win over Quinnipiac University.
Penfold, a Monmouth freshman, played for the FCW U16 and U18 U.S. Soccer Development Academy teams as well as the State Cup-winning FCW ’93 team.
His goal, the second of the year, came in the 52nd minute. He put four shots on goal during the Northeast Conference contest to help move Monmouth’s record to 10-4 on the season.

FCW alum Brian Span netted a goal and an assist in the Unversity of Virginia’s 2-0 win over Clemson on Friday, September 30. Span, a UVA sophomore, played for the FCW 92s, 91s and the FCW U.S. Soccer Development Academy team.

McNamara, a UNH freshman, played for the club’s U.S. Soccer Development Academy and prior to that the club’s ’93 State Cup-winning ’93 team.
FCW Alum Washington Tallies Winning Goal Vs. Harvard
In a match pitting two FC Westchester alums, Taylor Washington scored the winning goal for Boston University in a 2-1 win over Harvard on September 28th. Washington, a BU freshman, scored midway through the second half on a shot from just outside the box.
Starting for Harvard was FC Westchester U.S. Soccer Development Academy teammate Hiroki Kobayashi, who is a freshman for the Crimson.
FCW Alum Andres Penfold Tallies Go Ahead Goal In Nationally-Ranked Monmouth’s 3-0 Win Over Seton Hall; FCW Alum Reisert Scores for Cornell In Win Over LIU

FC Westchester alum Andres Penfold scored the go ahead goal in nationally-ranked Monmouth University’s 3-0 win over Seton Hall. Penfold, a Monmouth freshman, scored in the game’s 10th minute for his first goal of the season.
Penfold played for FC Westchester’s U.S. Soccer Development Academy team.
Meanwhile, FCW alum Stephen Reisert, scored the go ahead goal for Cornell in the Big Red’s 2-0 win over LIU. Reisert is a Cornell sophomore.
FCW Alum Tom McNamara Tournament MVP at Brown Soccer Classic

FC Westchester alum Tom McNamara, a junior at Brown University, this weekend was named Tournament MVP at the Brown Soccer Classic. McNamara, who played for the FCW ’91s and the FCW U18 U.S. Soccer Development Academy team, assisted on the game-winning goals in both games of the tourney.

FCW Alum Span Scores Game Winner For UVA in Nationally-Televised 1-0 Win Over Duke

In a nationally-televised contest, FC Westchester alum Brian "Cobi" Span scored the lone and winning goal in the University of Virginia’s 1-0 win over Duke University.
Span scored the goal in the match’s first five minutes, striking home a cross. Span played for the FC Westchester 1991s, 1992s and the U18 U.S. Soccer Development Academy team and spent time with the U.S. U17 National Team’s Bradenton Residency program.
